The data collection on Aquaculture in Cambodia aims to gather comprehensive insights into the current practices, production trends, challenges, and opportunities within the country’s aquaculture sector. The study focuses on key aspects such as fish farming methods, input usage, species cultivated, market access, and sustainability practices. Fieldwork is conducted across major aquaculture-producing provinces to ensure representative coverage of different regions and farm sizes. Data is collected through face-to-face interviews with fish farmers, traders, input suppliers, and relevant stakeholders using structured questionnaires. The collected data will support policymakers, development organizations, and private sector partners in understanding the sector’s growth potential and in identifying areas for improvement in productivity, profitability, and environmental management.
