The Cigarette Pack Collection Project in Cambodia aims to gather and document various cigarette packs available in the Cambodian market to support research on tobacco consumption, packaging design, and compliance with national health warning regulations. The project involves systematic collection of cigarette packs from urban and rural areas across multiple provinces, including both legal and illicit brands. Field staff visit retail outlets, markets, and informal vendors to collect unique cigarette packs, record purchase details, and photograph packaging for verification. All collected packs are catalogued and analyzed to identify brand diversity, packaging features, health warning coverage, and tax stamp presence. The findings will contribute to monitoring tobacco control policies, assessing market dynamics, and supporting public health research in Cambodia.
